Senior PHP developer

The Company

Woger is a rapidly expanding Dutch e-commerce company dealing with “life-style” products on the European market. They are currently active in 8 countries. Their selling channels are various European webshops, ebay and b-to-b.

All software is developed in PHP and are using a MySQL database. Development and communication interaction are according to the SCRUM method. The Chinese and Dutch department are working close together. 

Job Description E-commerce PHP Developer

We have already 15 developers in China who work on the webshops and a new development department in needed for the middleware applications. Initially you will work independently with the Dutch middleware developers but in the future all middleware development will be done in China and you will be in lead there.

As a middleware developer you will be responsible for all connections between our applications. The connectivity between these applications will be written in Zend framework and will connect various applications (Drupal / Magento / Third party Api's  / Sap and much more).

Ideal E-commerce PHP Developer

• at least 8+ years proven programming experience in OO based PHP
• at least 5+ years proven experience with MySQL
• experience with complex software architectures and middleware applications
• basic knowledge of Linux, Ubuntu / Debian preferred
• good written &spoken English
• Oversea experience is preferred
• Can work independently but also in a team
• Preferably knowledge of Drupal / Magento or Zend framework
• Strong communication skills
