Here we will take a very short walk-through of Drupal 7's Administrative Toolbar and the uniquely powerful, yet aptly named, Administrative Theme 'Seven' . Pick the Administrative page you feel will be most useful to return to repeatedly. (I used 'Performance' prior to learning Drush due to the need to Clear Cache when theming.). Hit that little add-button, and you'll notice that you're preferred page is now on the Shortcut bar. There is a limit to how many shortcuts you can add, but extremely useful for quick navigation or, on large content sites, throwing up a quick link to the content you are editing to quickly reference it next time you get to the desk. *Tip* Sometimes the Shortcut Bar can be more of a hassle than a help if you don't need any of the links available, but you do need more screen space. Just hit the up arrow on the far right of the Shortcut Bar. It can be re-enabled just as quickly.
